“Where youth and diffidence are united, it requires uncommon steadiness of reason to resist the attraction of being called the most charming girl in the world” – Jane Austin
Lets have a look at the lovely Sinead and Greg’s wedding way back in October at the Slieve Donard in Newcastle.
Sinead is one of the nicest girls in the whole world, an only child and much loved by her many friends and, of course, Greg! I had the luck to sit beside Sinead every single day, Monday to Friday in our office in Belfast for about 4 years. As with everyone she meets, we got on great and had much craic and numerous bouts of bad manners, laughing over stories in the Daily Mail and other nonsense. We no longer work together now but we remain good friends and when she asked me to shoot her wedding, I nearly dropped dead, not least because I realised just what an important event it was going to be! I prayed the whole day that things would go ok and I wouldn’t mess up because I knew this was such a special day for everybody. Luckily, our photo shoot took us to the hilly ground at the edge of the beautiful Newcastle Beach. The light and the scenery was just gorgeous and opened up perfectly just as we arrived at the hotel. This delighted us all, including Sinead and Greg’s brilliant videographer, Victoria from A Cinematic Life. It was great to shoot alongside this very talented lady again and I would love to work with her again, so future couples – check her out!
