Ireland & Uk based
Fine Art Wedding Photographer
My style is mixture of candid and non-obtrusive with an editorial flavour. I love to observe my subjects and capture them in a very natural, honest and uncontrived way.
I adore the little details, unguarded moments and the beauty of it all.
Hello!
I’m Hanora
Winner of the Professional Photography Association of Northern Ireland Wedding Photographer of the Year 2022, Wedding Documentary Photographer of the Year 2022, Licentiate Photographer of the Year 2021 and 2022 and recipient of Awards from the PPANI for Album Design and Creative Work in 2021. Recognised as one of the Best Portrait Photographers of 2020 in the International Looks Like Film Community.
I seek connection, the relationships, the laughs, the real you & real me.

My whole life I have loved beautiful things. Nature in all it's seasons. Museums full of old treasure. National Trust buildings that smell of peat and the large Parkland that goes with them. Wildflowers. The Sea Cliffs at Donegal.
My earliest memories are of painting pictures at Playschool and thinking to myself that those blobs of paint looked great. Art and creativity has been a constant in my life. The pull to create beautiful things led me to pick up a camera in 2011 which in turn led me to leave my Professional job in Building and Environment some 7 years ago.
I have been shooting weddings since 2012. I still get excited before each one. My mind is a hum of activity, thinking about weddings, the couples and locations I am booked for and what way the images will reflect the story. What I can add to it and what can I bring to the table for my couples. It really is a labour of love.
I shoot on a mixture of digital, medium format and 35mm film cameras. I approach a wedding as a story, with every image I take building up an entire picture of your day, piece by piece. I look for these three things – good light, good connections and all things natural. That is my trinity. I don’t look for perfection. If the best food is organic and the best gardens don't have straight lines, then I feel the best things lie in the natural. That's the way I feel about photography.
The imperfections, the in-between, natural, off guard moments.
I love that.
