Cara and Paul – Ballymascanlon House Wedding

January 22, 2019

Lets inject another bit of summer on our screens, this wintery, snowy evening. Cara and Paul and their gorgeous wedding at St. Patricks, Donaghmore followed by a reception at Ballymascanlon House. First up, these two are the sweetest, most giggly, warm and friendly couple you could hope to meet. I first met them properly during our engagement session in Dublin (click here to see), where we went round all their favourite parts of the city they called home for so many years. Both worked in the same office building (different floors) in Dublin City and it was great to see so many of their work colleagues make the trip up North to help them celebrate.

Even though we spent a lot of time together talking and documenting their relationship before their wedding day, the fact that Paul is a Champion All Ireland Road Bowler escaped me until I happened to see him on BBC one evening! I knew he was good, I just didn’t realise how good! Road Bowls in a really big deal in Armagh (and Cork), a fact I have picked up from my own husband (also a Paul from Armagh). Well done Paul!

Cara and Paul have travelled a good bit of the world together, so it was only fitting that they got engaged abroad too, on the beautiful island of Capri. When I sent their final wedding gallery, they were in the middle of an epic globe trotting honeymoon and on their final leg of it, through South America. I soon saw them again however, at Caras cousins wedding (Nicola and Barry) which is another wedding that I hope you will see on my blog soon. It was great to see everyone again.

Cara and Paul compiled a fantastic team to bring their wedding together (see suppliers below, again its filled with favourites). Ballymascanlon House was at its most beautiful with the Wisteria in full bloom, so everything went perfectly. Can I just say a big thank you to Luke Flint Media who helped me on this wedding and did an epic job! Thank you Luke!
