I wish I could blog every single wedding I shoot. Someday, maybe I will, but for now, I am going to shed some spotlight on this one. It deserves every bit of praise you can muster.
I have never shot a wedding where the rain was so heavy, it blew in sideways, but so it was on this day. And who cares! It was still fabulous. Claire and David were sunny enough on their own. They both met in due to their respective careers in Law. David hails from England and has just the perfect tint of of a Manchester accent echoing through. I must stop at this point and mention his Mum, who looked the epitome of cool in her suit and flat shoes. I know kin when I see it. She was brilliant. And I just knew she had the best taste in music ever (I was right).
The wedding had a wonderful blend of people, culture and wit from all over the world. Traditional dress, fantastic headwear. It was all contained within the environs of Castle Leslie, one of the best venues our Country has to offer. Despite the weather it was still majestic.
Claire and her family were all together in morning preparations, the centre of which had to be little Ollie (you will see him). He was dressed in a miniature version of Davids suit, all perfectly tailored by Dee Graham Tailor Made. There is one image here, just after Claire finished getting dressed where he took her by the hand and told his Auntie she looked beautiful! What a perfect gentleman!
I don’t need to tell you how gorgeous this bridal party were. I have already had plenty of people stopping me to ask about this wedding and “that gorgeous wedding”.
Have a great weekend! Loved reliving this, it was so hard to narrow it down! Definitely a major highlight. Thank you so much for having me along! x
